TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) Training
For U.S. clubs holding an activity where members will be serving alcohol:
Any member serving alcohol should hold a certificate from either TIPS training or another training program approved by the local alcohol control board. After receiving the certificate of training completion, please send a copy by email to SIA headquarters at tipstraining@soroptimist.org. Please include the club name and club number in the email.
D & O Insurance / Management Liability Program Enrollment Form
Director’s & Officer’s insurance (also known as Management Liability insurance) is insurance provided to the club that protects the personal assets of club officers and directors against claims that arise due to decisions made on behalf of the club in good faith. To purchase this strongly recommended but voluntarily policy, please fill out the enrollment form. To pay online directly to Pacific Ag Insurance, please use these instructions.
