Participate in 2022 UN Commission on the Status of Women
Are you interested in participating at the 66th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women? Here’s your chance! Dates are March 14 to 25, 2022.
Given the unique circumstances caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, no formal registration is needed for CSW66 and virtual attendance is open to all.
Themes will include:
- Priority theme: Achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls in the context of climate change, environmental and disaster risk reduction policies and programmes
- Review theme: Women’s economic empowerment in the changing world of work

Join NGO CSW Forum
Also consider registering for the NGO CSW Forum, which runs parallel to the official session taking place at UN Headquarters. This provides civil society the opportunity to engage in the processes and CSW sessions without ECOSOC-accreditation or a UN grounds pass.
Over the two weeks of the UN CSW, NGO CSW/NY organizes more than 500 events that inform, engage and inspire grassroots efforts and advocacy needed to empower women and girls.

Join the Soroptimist International Advocacy Team for a three-part Zoom series about CSW66. Times vary depending on your location.

Focused on the purpose and logistics of CSW, the one-hour training webinar will cover:
- What CSW is all about
- How to register as a delegate
- Why it is so important for Soroptimists to be involved
