SIA Secretary/Treasurer

Michelle Strawser

Michelle Strawser of Wesley Chapel, Florida, is currently serving a one-year term as secretary/treasurer of the board of directors for Soroptimist International of the Americas, Inc.® (SIA).

In this role, Michelle participates in strategic planning and program development for the organization to increase its collective impact in helping women and girls around the world to achieve their full potential. In addition, she works with Soroptimist’s professional staff to oversee the organization’s financial practices and accounts.

Michelle is a member of Soroptimist International of Pasco, FL (Southern Region), one of 1,200 Soroptimist clubs throughout the world. A member since 2005, she has held several leadership positions, including region governor, governor-elect, membership chair, and district director, as well as club president and secretary. In 2014, Michelle was named a Soroptimist Southern Region Emerging Leader recipient.

Michelle is a franchisee owner of Orangetheory Fitness where she manages eight locations. She has expertise in scaling businesses and increasing revenue. She enjoys yoga, reading, gardening and plants in her free time.
