SIA President-Elect
Sue Riney
Sue Riney of Oak Harbor, WA (Northwestern Region), is currently serving a one-year term as president-elect of the Soroptimist International of the Americas, Inc.® (SIA) Board of Directors. In this role, Sue collaborates with President Ginger Cole, Ed.D., and board members to oversee Soroptimist’s strategic planning and program development. She will assume the role of SIA president on September 1, 2025.
A member since 1996, Sue has held several leadership positions, including Soroptimist International (SI) public relations liaison and SIA board secretary/treasurer, convention co-chair, region governor, and club president.
Sue retired after 40 years as a vice president/project manager for Wells Fargo Bank. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in recreation and park management from Western Washington University. In addition to her active role in Soroptimist, she also participates in Whidbey Presbyterian Church and Whidbey Playhouse.
